Week 3 - Round 6 - 7 Maple Square (Cormier)

Hey! Check it out, there's a new house in town. I wonder who lives here?

Good lord Ricky, can't you ever stand up straight? I'm trying to reintroduce you to the folks. Oh well.

Ricky was immediately sent to the computer to find a job. The first job offered was in the Art track, which will be Ricky's second career, so we skipped it. The second was Slacker. Wow Ricky! You sure have some kind of luck today!


Ground Floor aerial shot. I've added a few things for Ricky after selling off all his date things, like a computer and easel.


Second Floor. Yup, Ricky brought his Hall of Fame with him, and the first thing he did after buying the house was hang up his portraits.


Ricky's off to his first day of work as a Freelance Web Designer. Hey! That's my job! You'll notice that as usual the wolves have shown up to dig holes in the yard.


2nd LTW fulfilled. His new one? Become Hall of Famer. I just may let him. Afterall, that's a great career reward to have.


Oh Kerie, I missed your lips so much! I've actually gone almost two whole days without Makingout or Woohooing, save me Kerie!


For some reason unknown to him, Ricky asked Kerie to move in with him.

Ricky decided to marry Kerie right away before he thought about it too much. He's still the romance sim you know.


Kerie and Ricky immediately decided to consumate their vows, lol.

Being a Fortune sim it doesn't really matter that she wants to raise pets for a living. She'll never stop complaining unless I let her get a job too. She'll start pet training tomorrow I think.


Wednesday morning Kerie headed over to the local pet store. She talked to many of the local residents about what kind of dog she should buy. First she talked with Cadence and Aremis. The both suggested something intellicent, and Cadence said that if she was planning on having children that a big dog would be better since it would be easier for the dog to escape little fingers being stuck where they don't belong.


Monica said she should get a dog to match her house, but we can't all have pink dogs, can we? snicker.


Finally Kerie chose Miller. He's got a fairly average personality, but he's a genius, although fairly agressive. Miller is my attempt to recreate my step-father's beloved Belgian Shepard Miller, but I couldn't get the coloring right.


He does however act like the real Miller. "Oh boy, Oh boy, CAR RIDE!!!!!!"


The first thing he did when he got to the house was go after the most expensive piece of furniture that they owned, so one of his first memories of the new house is being scolded.


Kerie was feeling really tired for some reason, so she asked Ricky if he could teach Miller how to Shake for his first night on the job.


Sierra is definetly the new Debbie. Tara was greeted, but Sierra just walked in and made herself at home.


Poor Miller, his first night was too rough on him. He came home exhausted, with a full bladder, and desperately in need of chewing on something. I think he's dreaming about all the vermin chasing he did. He spent the whole night on the sidewalk sleep-running and sleep-growling. He was so exhausted he couldn't even make it to his bed.


5:30 am. Guess who finally figured out she's pregnant. You look like a big purple grape you know.


I love how Miller runs out every morning to greet the mailman. He's the only sim pet I've ever seen that actually makes it out there in time every morning! Then he follows him to the end of the lot, turns around and follows whichever walk-by came by to the other end of the lot. He's learned some manners, so he doesn't bark at them, he just watches and follows.


Kerie brought Jasmine home from work with her and decided to pick her brain about the mini-golf game the company gave her.


OMG!!! Jasmine what are you doing! I can't believe one of my own sims would betray me this way!

Yup, that's a Miller alright.

I swear he's laughing at her. He probably already knows how to Roll Over and is just funning her.


Good Boy! He now has all the skills he needs for the Service career track.


Well, it was a rough couple of days for Kerie and Miller. At one point Miller was growling at Kerie everytime she came near him, but their friends now, and all is right in the world.

Week 3 - Round 6-4 - Sim State Uni - Whispering Winds

Previously at Whispering Winds

In this round the girls are entering their Junior year of University and Eddie is entering his Sophomore year of university.

Now that the college kids have snapdragons writing their term papers isn't quite as bad a drag, although they're still pretty bummed out after.


Kirsty met and fell in love with a nice young man named Weldon Collin.


She quickly decided to take the initiative and proposed to him. He quickly said yes. After all, Kirsty's a great catch.


Following the tradition of changing your dates, Amber decided to give Oliver Graham a makeover.

Here he is after she's worked her magic.

They also fell in love....

Shared a first kiss....

And got engaged. I'm actually rather surprised. Amber is so traditional I would have thought she'd wait for Oliver to propose to her, but apparently her sister's been talking to her about the modern world.


Gee thanks Weldon. That'll really help when you and Kirsty buy your first house.


Kirsty and Eddie have a secret. You see, now that love is in the air, Amber's been asking Eddie why he hasn't found someone to settle down with. Kirsty know's that Eddie's waiting for April, but they can't tell Amber, because she's constantly going around spewing hearts at Eddie even though she's in love with Colin. She'll hopefully be married to Colin before she finds out about Eddie and April.


The tragic demise of a cow has sent the Man-Cow fleeing from the greek house. I may remove it and let him come back, but it's just so funny to watch!


These guys have been so busy that I had to order all three of them to get on the phone before they lost all their friends.


So what do they do as soon as they get off the phone(s)? They decided to form a research group. You know, I love to read, but even I'm tempted to call these guys bookworms.


"Did you tell them yet that I got my Gold Toy Making Badge?" No, but you just did. He also became Big Sim on Campus.


Amber has convinced the others that worshipping nature is the way to go. (Truthfully I got bored at the end of the semester and decided to have them meditate for a day)

Kirsty learned to float first.

Then next morning Amber figured out the trick of it too. Eddie's the only one still earth bound.

Phoenix is still trying to get abducted, but no luck yet.

Cadence got a job as a Leading Lady, but since she doesn't work till Monday, she's building up her skills for a promotion.


Well honestly Cadence, what did you think was going to happen with all the woohooing the two of you have been doing. It's so cute that she got the maternity outfit that matches her house!


Phoenix has reclaimed his practice dummy, but he looks a little shocked at some of the things Cadence put in there. I told you, never trust a criminal to do your surgery.


This is the first skill that Phoenix has managed to max out, just six more to go.


Should we tell her that there are occasionally spagetti twins? Nah, who knows, she might beat the odds.


Phoenix gets the unenviable job of cleaning up after his wife. Now that's love.


Cadence prepares for work by meditating because being a Fortune sim she wants to go to work weither she's pregnant or not. It's kinda scary seeing the baby get sucked in like that.

Another baby pop right before work, let's hope it's a lucky bump!

Baby bumps are good for promotions I guess. Another promotion, and more building!


And so we leave off where we started, with Phoenix searching the skys for life.
