These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 4 - Round 8 - Luworld Home


Welcome back to the land of pink my friends. Baxter here showed up looking for Tara, and Magenta had to tell him that she now lives in Oak Square.

Friday was quite the eventful day, as you'll soon see. I swear no cheats were involved. It was just amazing!

Good choice Grayson! I'll send him back to work because it's only 10:30 and see if we can get two promotions out of him today!

"Joy Sims, you are so beautiful. Could you possibly be my future girlfriend?"

Tara dropped by on Saturday to take Magenta home with her. For some reason she refused to be given Magenta and insisted on paying for her. Weird.

Monica's birthday is in only two days, and this has reminded Grayson and Monica that if they want to be remembered how they were when they were young and hot that they need to get started on the paintings for their graves.

Now that Monica and Grayson have reached the top they have more time to spend with their children. It may be a little late considering their childrens' ages, but their trying. Grayson is even congratulating Loretta on making 10 best friends.

The story behind this is that I've told Loretta that if she builds enough skills she gets to go to college, where she can meet lots of new people and have plenty of time for making best friends. Of course, she settled right down to skill building.

Monica was missing Magenta now that she was gone. Loretta would be leaving soon, and while she loved Grayson she felt that house would feel so empty soon. So a quick run to the pet store. She of course bought a dog to match her decor. I'll introduce the newest member of the household to you as soon as they get home.

Aremis, we've discussed this before. You and Tina are going to have 10 Children. You simply don't have room for a pet. Maybe once you become an elder and your breeding days are behind you.

Pinkie was named for the stuff pink dog that I've had since birth. My mother actually had to remove it when I was about 7 or 8 because she couldn't patch it up anymore, but much to my suprise I discovered years later that she'd actually kept it. My mom is definetly someone special, even if there were times growing up when we hated each other.

"Bad Pinkie! Don't destroy the pink furniture!"

"I knew the moment I set eyes on you that you were the one Joy, you even love pink"
I hate to tell her, but Joy most definetly isn't the one once she reaches college. You see, Joy here is a Romance sim. I've got enough of those to deal with already.

But she will do for a first kiss. It's too bad she's a Romance sim, because they sure do make a cute couple. I think Loretta looks prettier with her blonde hair too.

I have never seen a finicky dog do this before. 5 minutes before this she was rolling in the flowers. Annie never does this.

Today (Monday) is Monica's birthday, so I thought we'd have one more shot of her in her prime.

What? No pink? We must fix that.

The round ends with Monica discovering that even with grey hair and saggy parts, she's still got what it takes. You'll notice I upgraded the bed finally, I don't want to be stuck with a cheap bed just to placate a ghost.
