These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 5 - Round 10 - 7 Maple Square (Cormier)

A/N: Sorry this was delayed guys. My mother's computer is acting super wonky, and despite having spent a total of ten hours updating all her drivers and removing spyware/adware/viruses, I never did manage to get it to run Sims, which I know it is capable of. Once I got home I had to deal with jet lag. Why don't the ever tell first time flyer's that you can have a serious case of jet lag even when you're heading east instead of west?

Last round we got the results of the poll regarding Annie having puppies, and you guys voted for Wiggins as Daddy. This resulted in the birth of three puppies, Sheba, Pigpen, and Wizard. Garth took over most of his parents' chores because his mother was pregnant once again, causing Garth to view the eminent arrival of a sibling with some well deserved dread, and I continued to torture Ricky whenever the mood struck me.

This looks like a good place to get back into the story. After all, this house is all about the dogs! I can't wait to see what these puppies look like when they grow-up!

A little bit of pre-work training for all of the puppies and Wiggins, who still hasn't learned to Play Dead. What a doof! (Just kidding, you know we love you Wiggins!)

Fortune Sim that she is, Kerie is insisting on going to work today, despite her advanced state of pregnancy. Well good luck with the promotion hon.

Goddess help me, I'm more and more sure that this child will end up a Romance Sim like his father.

Garth's first A+, and there's nobody home to care about it. Still, things could be worse.

Congratulations Kerie, too bad it wasn't your LTW.

For once Garth is in the garden because he wants to be. Gardening is a great way to gain after-school fun.

I had no idea that children could earn badges, cool.

OMG!!! So Cute! Wiggins is singing along with the guitar, lol!

"Ahh, yoohoo, pregnant sim about to give birth"

And his name shall be... Eric Cormier.

Garth couldn't care less about his little brother, he'd rather spend some quiet time with a book. Even studying is better than chores.

"Time to pick the apples."

Hey Mom! Don't you think RL Annie would like one of these?

It appears that Sheldon has discovered that most of the pets in Knowlton are really nice ones.

Every now and then Ricky does something that makes me hate him a little less for a little while. This is one of those times.

The headmaster is coming for a visit tonight, which means Ricky has to bone up on his cooking skills before prepping the turkey.

Birthday time for the puppies!

Sheba
Genius, Hyper, Friendly, Cowardly, Finicky
Libra

Pigpen
Genius, Friendly, Cowardly, Pigpen
Gemini

Wizard
Genius, Hyper, Friendly, Cowardly, Finicky
Aquarius

Of course, one of the first things Pigpen does upon becoming an adult is dig a hole in the yard, sigh. This one is too much like his daddy sometimes.

I'm feeling pretty generous today, so the family has been permitted to hire Lucy to help with the household chores. No gardener though just because when the show up in winter they spend all day complaining that they can't water the flowers.

I'm getting really sick of this chance card, but good girl anyway Annie.

Ricky of course gets stuck with all the gardening work.

Well, the headmaster visit glitched again, so Kerie's going to spend some time training the dogs a bit.

Time to find jobs for those pets! Pigpen got Showbiz, Sheba got Security, and Wizard got Service.

Then it was time for Eric's birthday. I'll tell you one thing for sure, this house keeps me busy. I may have bitten off more than I can chew this time.

Eric Cormier
Neat-2, Outgoing-8, Active-9, Playful-6, Nice-1
Gemini

As usual, Ricky is stuck toddler training since he's the only perma-plat sim in the house.

Two down, one to go!

Wizard! I expected better from you! You're supposed to be a finicky dog.

Well at least the tomatoes are ready to be harvesting. I think we may leave off the gardening for awhile though. This house is just crazy busy.

"Ho-hum, You potty train one kid, you've potty trained all kids, it's always the same old thing."

At least the dogs keep Calista happy and busy. The only real difference between Sheba and Wizard is eye color. At least they're interesting looking.

I'm so happy that Ricky decided to buy one of the Belleosi Water Wigglers. No more bathes for my dogs, now they can take care of it all on their own!

Please let it not glitch this time...

And... They're in!!!

"Come on Wiz, you can do it, Shake!"

Garth spends a lot of time at the piano trying to raise his fun level. Homework really takes it out of you.

While this is very cute Eric, you better get your butt back inside before you freeze.

What kid wouldn't be happy with six dogs running around for him to torment with cuddles?

Ricky!!!! Do you have any idea how expensive that darn clock was!?!?

It appears that Annie even needs to put her pups in their proper place. She's the matriarch, got that?

Ahhh good to have you back, I was wondering were you had gotten to. Jet lag can be a real pain, I seem to always get it. Worst is when you get to your destination and the folks your meeting have set up a dinner or something. I pretty much feel like doing what preg sims do when they're tired and eating. SPLAT face in food!

So whats the secret to red apples, coz in the entire time I've had an apple tree on my lot I've only gotten grey ones. And its not for lack of looking after it, maybe its just my luck. I hear what your saying about a handful of a house, so many sims can be a real pain sometimes, but I guess we still love 'em anyway. Cool to have you back :)

Lol. The night I arrived in B.C. I was fine, but the next day I had a very public breakdown. It was kind of funny and pathetic at the same time.

The secret to really great fruits and vegetables (if your sim doesn't have a gold badge) is basically to take care of them as promptly as you can manage. The higher the badge your sim has, the better the produce will do. You'll notice that not all of Ricky's tomatoes were great looking. That's because sometimes Kerie and Garth helped out with the gardening.

I'm glad to be back posting now, although now I'll be splitting my time between Knowlton and The Day After Tomorrow.
