These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 5 - Round 10 - Luworld Home

Welcome to the Luworld Home!

Monica and Grayson are really the sweetest old Romance couple I've ever seen. They've even taken on the monumental challenge of their yard in fall together. I'm seriously considering letting this family get a gardener once Monica gets her Gold Gardening badge, because this lot just has a scary amount of foliage.

Grayson! Monica just raked those up you miserable old geezer!

Old age hasn't changed Grayson and Monica's relationship at all. They've still got the passion.

Poor Grayson, Monica's a total slob, and even after all these years he's still cleaning up after her.

Now that Monica's an empty nester she's taken to spending a lot of time with Pinkie when she's not working in her garden.

"Here Monica, try a taste of the Bass with Squash that I made especially for you my love."

Pinkie seems to quickly be becoming friends with all the neighborhood strays.

I think she misses Loretta.

"My sweet young Monica"
You better not let your wife catch you gazing longingly at a picture of her in her prime. She might be a bit insulted that you don't like her "as-is".

"Hey you! Plumbbob Deity! You think you could magic me up some pink outerwear?"
I'll see what I can do Monica, but for this round you'll just have to make do with red.

Yeah, I changed my mind. Calista's here to help with the leaf problem. Monica will just have to make sure that any work in the vegetable garden has been done before she gets here. The other day she and Grayson raked leaves from 11 pm till 5 am and there were still more leaves.

You know, Pinkie is one scary looking dog. Magenta is much cuter.

Monica spent most of the weekend gardening and finally earned her Gold badge.

Grayson, not to be out done, earned his Gold badge on the first day of winter. I just caught it in time too, look at it, it's trying to vanish right before my eyes.

Way to go Pinkie. Can't remember, but I think she has only one promotion to go.

Hmm, maybe not. Well, congratulations again.
I just realized that I didn't unlock anything. OMG! That means I'm done with unlocking and will no longer have the game locking to figure out what to give me! Yippee!!!

Ouch! That looks painful.

Wow, congrats on unlocking everything! I'm close, but haven't quite got there yet.

Leaves are overwhelming; It has made me put less trees on lots now.
