These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 4 - Round 7-3 - Sim State Uni - Whispering Winds

Well, as you may have noticed, I've put the last several hours towards making it easier to find your way around Knowton. Honestly if I was designing this page with GoLive instead of Blogger it would be a lot more graphical. Like clicking on the houses to enter them. But I'm just feeling too lazy lately to bother with GoLive. Let me know if you guys think that the new navigation options are good, or just too much clutter. We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog. ; )

Well, this year was fairly boring for the girls. They've got all the skills they need for their post grad lives, have already found that special someone, and pretty much are just passing time.

April and Tara spent most of the year painting. April couldn't care less, but she was helping Tara out by painting masterpieces for her to sell.

Someone knocked over the trash can and it wasn't picked up until too late. Tara must have sprayed these darn cockroaches at least 4 times already and they're still alive.

April makes sure to call Eddie every now and then for an aspirationally required date. Wouldn't want a hot guy like Eddie forgetting her anyway.

Uh-oh! Looks like spending all that time near the cockroaches gave Tara the flu. That looks painful.

We finally caved in and called Carmen Patch. She took them out in less than five minutes. You may look like a baboon Carmen, but you're my hero.

Of course, Tara still has time for her precious crop.

And here's Tara reaching the halfway point to her Impossible Want of earning $100,000.

Hey! Check it out, April invited a friend over. Wonder who it is. Why it's Rowan, the college version of Sim-Me. You see, April's almost 12 hrs behind Tara, and I haven't decided wether I should leave her there at the end of round 7 to hold down the fort, or if she should ask Rowan to pledge and move in.

See? They're best friends now, which is cool, because April's been having that want for most of the year.

Tara finishes off this part of the round by asking Rowan to do her term paper. Rowan's only too happy to do it, being a Knowledge sim. Hey, she is a townie, but I created her in CAS first, so I know her basic stats.
