Week 2 - Round 3 - Rainseeker Home

So just a quick recap here, Aremis has just left for Private School, Sierra is in her last trimester, Tom is painting as always, and apparently Monica spent all night on the chess table, because she was still here when they woke up. Too bad she doesn't gain logic from it at other people's houses.

"Err, Sierra," Aremis asked with concern in his voice, " are you sure you should be eating cheesecake when you're pregnant?"

Probably not a good for the baby, but she was starving and kept falling asleep in her food.

Sierra: I can't believe you did this to me Tom!!!!
Tom: But honey, I thought you wanted to have my child.
Like most women, Sierra went into labour in the wee hours of the night, 3:20 am to be precise.

And here's little Billy Rainseeker. The heir to the house. He's so cute.

And then there were two. This is little Bobby Rainseeker. You see what happens when you eat cheesecake while pregnant Sierra? At the moment the twins look exactly alike, so you'll just have to take my word for which is which.

Tom is delighted, not one son, but two! He loved Mom, but had secretly always wanted a son to pass his name on to. Maybe Mom would be less jealous of the twins since they were boys. Or maybe it would make her more jealous, only time would tell.

The livingroom was quickly converted into a nursery. Afterall, the family didn't even own a tv and the phone was just fine in the kitchen.

The sofa and bookcase were moved to Aremis' room. At least if he brought a date home they could make out on the sofa in here instead of in front of the twins, if they made it as far as the bedroom. Tom and Sierra knew that Aremis wouldn't take advantage of this and take things all the way with any of his girlfriends, because he'd learned from an early age how tough it had been on his own mother to be a young single mom.

They think alike....

They sleep at the same time... I'll be really suprised if these guys aren't clones.

Tom knows he won't get to see the boys grow-up, so he spends a lot of time with them now. He knows he'll be able to watch over them after he's gone, but it's not the same as being able to hold them.

Even Sierra seems to be realising that Tom will be gone soon and wants to spend as much time as possible with him right now.

Poor Aremis has had a major breakout of acne, but as you can see he's quite happy to help take care of his uncles, even when they stink!

They really are terrific parents

One more point for a scholarship, plus friendship with Sierra, works for me!

Birthday Time!

This move should be renamed flying toddler.

And the toddler races for the wobbly wabbit are on, in the lead is Bobby followed closely by Billy. They may look alook, and dress alike but their personalities differ greatly.

Week 2 - Round 3 - Belleosi Home

You know, I was noticing the other day that this is a very active community. Most of the sims living here either want to be a Hall of Famer or be in a career track that requires high body skills. The few who don't follow these rules all seem to be fairly active sims, but most of them are slobs. Which would you rather have? A sloppy sim or a lazy sim? And now on with the story.

And what a way to start a chapter, with a birthday! Eddie's all grown up, personally I think he's quite handsome. They didn't have a party, or even a cake, no money, and while Samantha would have loved a party, guests empty the fridge and since she never learned to study her homework leaves her with very little extra time, especially during the week. And afterall, this is Monday night.

Even though Eddie's a pretty good cook, they have little money and no stove, so they're always eating jello, it actually took them three plates each to fill up because they were really hungry.

Eddie's obsessed with getting into Knowlton Academy, so he's taken up a new harvesting hobby. Every spare corner of the house has a plant. They just have to be placed in backpacks when company shows up since there are no doors in the house, just archways.

Eddie, like most Knowledge sims, has learned of my obsession with the energizer. On the upside, once he's got his skills, he'll have much more time for his friends and family.

Thanks to Eddie and Sam's harvesting project the interior of the house has recieved a makeover in most rooms. Just in time too, it's Thursday and the headmaster is heading over for a visit, let's hope that what little has been accomplished is enough. Yeah, I know it's bad form to take pictures with walls down and plumbbobs showing (omg, I can't believe I can see your plumbbob you plumbbob flasher!) but it was more efficient than posting shots of each of the rooms. Basically the improvements are good ($5-10) wall and floor coverings in all of the rooms except the bedroom, a stove, a few lights, and two area rugs.

Yay! He likes them! Final score: Food-43, Tour-37, Schmooze-24. I guess I should have found the funds to do over the bedroom too.

Week 2 - Round 3 - Wetstein House

Welcome back to the land of woohoo! Well actually Serena's the only one obsessed with woohoo, but she also needs the most attention. The kids go to school, and Debs happy as long as I keep her provided with thinking caps and energisers. Obviously nothing happened From Monday morning till after 3pm since Deb was the only one home. After that though it was birthday time!
And may I say that I find it hilarious how they all stare at their hands when they grow-up like they don't even belong to them. Also, something seems to be up with my graphics card because everyone looked kinda wooden and jointed today.

Yet another victim.. I can't even remember their names now there are so many of them.


Serena took Ally back to the town lot to get that public woohoo out of the way. If she ever saves up any money I may have her buy that lot, just so we can keep people out during her dates.

Ah, the profits of promiscuity.

I've decided to start branding partners before one of my helpless sims gets interested. It shouldn't actually be a problem though since Gen 1 is pretty much taken care of, and all the kids will be choosing college sweethearts.


Serena thought this was a sure fire way to get into Private school. Unfortunately she not only didn't get schmooze points, we didn't even get the hottub bonus.


I think Monica may be a little jealous. Besides, Serena wears make-up, and we all know how much Monica hates that. A little professional rivalry dears?


Yup another victim. She also took him home just to be safe.


With all the aspiration boosts she's had lately she finished maxing out her body skill, which just leaves boring charisma and mechanical.


I sent Deb in to save the day the second time Korey came over. I figure he's probably a knowledge sim so he might like her better.


Well between that and Monica chatting with him after we made it. Unfortunately Amber didn't have that want at the time, but it's more because the kids will come home happier. The final score was Food-45, Tour-40, Schmooze-32. I've actually never gotten a schmooze score that high! He's on Monica's list of possibles now, so watch out Korey.


And this is what Amber and Debbie do while everyone else sleeps. I might as well sell their beds, they never use them. The study and energize and occasionnally call friends.


Yeah, I'd look sheepish too if my pregnancy started showing in the middle of a date with a guy I never slept with. I may decide to let everyone in on who the father is later on. There, I've given you a hint, at least you know it was a guy. I told you, I'm equal oppurtunity and my same sex couples get a little help with getting pregnant together.


And that confirms it folks, she had the woohoo with 10 sims want and in her panel and it was fulfilled. That means that she counts the mystery sim, and public woohoo counts as a new sim! So when I take her to the community lot with Alvin that will put her at 11, and we have Korey lined up but we need to make friends with a few more available friends. Maybe Alvin will have one of his friends call her!


And now the big moment! The reason my Thursday rounds end at 6pm. Really I'm thinking of ending my Monday rounds at 6pm too! Or maybe just switching to something like 10pm when everyone is getting ready for bed, at least those that sleep. Sorry got side-tracked there. As I was saying the big moment. The twins grew up and here they are ladies and gentlegeeks.

Week 2 - Round 3 - Luworld Home

Week two has finally started, as usual it seems that the Luworld family is getting more than their fair share of space in the blog. I can't help it, they're great. Serena's just annoying, and it's crazy running her household, the Belleosi family is too busy trying to get scholarships to be interesting, unless you enjoy looking at endless shots of people reading. The Rainseekers however look promising, so maybe they'll get more than 5 pictures.

Monday afternoon everyone got home with promotions, but their needs were shot and Calista left the house a disaster, and the fridge empty, so leftovers it was. Even the baby is asleep in her crib stinky. I really hate Calista, I wonder if I fire her if I'd get a good nanny or if they'd just send me her again.

Sierra showed up and I had Tara play chess with her briefly, but it just wasn't bringing up her fun fast enough.

It's always amazed me that sims who are just learning yoga can do this, I've done it with every pregnancy and off and on in between (when I can get the kids to leave me alone long enough to do it) and I've NEVER been able to get my hands completely flat like that.

Tara got an A+, Tara got an A+! Quick play with her so she can do her homework before the headmaster shows up!

And Korey says.....yes, but just barely, Food-42, Tour-45, Schmooze-3. I kept them away from him after in case they said something to upset him before he agreed to Tara attending, and just think, in a week we have to do the whole thing all over again for Loretta. Oh Joy.

She FINALLY grew-up. I hit the "gonna make a dirty diaper" glitch.

My god, she's evil.

Since Grayson was up in the middle of last night to change her diaper and slept have the day, he gets first shift of toddler trainer. At least he gets smart milk and a thinking cap, with that combo I usually get my toddlers trained in one night.


Umm, weren't you two in your pajamas a minute ago? Oh yeah, romance sims, never mind me, carry on.

Since the 'rents were busy Tara decided to introduce herself to Loretta now that the kid kinda made sense (and yeah, from experience that's about how they see it).

Aww, cute, she got the christmas jammies, it's January now, but still cute. Of course as soon as Monica was all charged up, Loretta needed to sleep. Isn't that always the way of things, if you want to play with them they're busy and if you're busy they want you.

Looks like it was just one of those mother daughter things. She just looks so trusting, sorta like she's not sure about it, but if Mommy says so it must be ok.

Yay! It's punching bag time. Since this family will have two, one of them will be leaving with Tara when she goes to college. I have no idea wether it will stay at the Greek House or follow her to her homestead.

As far as I can tell this is minor glitch. I gave her smart milk not 5 sim minutes ok, she glowed and after I put something in her inventory she stopped glowing. Her hunger was half-way before the bottle so I know she got a full dose, I just hope she's still getting the benefits without the glow.

This is the main reason I removed the blur, it's just so cute when the pat the potty!

Monica's solution to the Calista problem, plus now, I have the toddler feeding power!

I'm sorry Calista, was there something you wanted? Maybe to stuff Loretta with useless dairy milk? Or maybe to cook multiple meals that you have no intention of eating, or even better, starting a fire again?

And this is how Loretta passes the day while her family is away, alone, in her room, glowing like a firefly and playing with Mr.Wabbit.
