Week 5 - Round 9 - University - Whispering Winds GH - Y2

Yawn....University again, it just takes sooo long, and is sooo boring. Oh well, I guess we'd best get on with it then. Honestly this isn't the reason it's been a few days since I updated. The real reason is that I got a case of the winter blues followed by the winter blehs. I'm still not really feeling all sunshiny, but the blog must go on.

See? It's a total yawn fest.

It's finally harvesting time! Those tomatoes look soo good, and I hate tomatoes.

Now that Rowan's harvested her crop it's Loretta's turn to garden. I chose Loretta because she already has lots of skills, and she's close to her 30 Best Friends mark. Lauren and Cora still have lots of work to do towards their impossible wants.

Bronze badge! Not bad Loretta, you didn't even get to work on the garden in fall.

Rowan's been spending too much time with Abbie, she's now trying to become the next Sim Idol!

"Abbie, would you consider pledging to our Greek House?"
"I'd be honored!"
(Abbie's just happy because this gets her one step closer to Knowlton)

Just a typical winter's night at the the WWGH. Some studying, Loretta and Lauren on the phone, and Abbie hitting the bar. Cora is of course with her money trees.

Lauren was on her way to the phone and Cora was on her way to her money trees when they both suddenly stopped for a quick makeout session. Loretta is of course totally disgusted by this because she still doesn't have a sweetheart.

Cora and Lauren finally found time to be together.

Rowan's taken up a new hobbie now that the fishing pond has frozen over. She's already earned her bronze Flower Arranging badge.

Cora's made it to the $25,000 mark!

Loretta earned her Silver Gardening Badge in the middle of Sim State Uni's first real snow storm.

"Heh heh heh, look at him standing there all sweet and unexpecting!"
Rowan's still quite evil, she just has fewer oppurtunities to be evil nowadays.

The dynamic duo strikes again with a stunning masterpiece of snowmanship!

Poor Rowan, building that snowman really iced her up. I was hoping that the hottub would help since Grizou seems quite comfy, but still looks awful.

Rowan is now a simsicle. She actually climbed out of the hottub to freeze. Grizou seems to find this hilarious, that or it's just because she's now a lovely scantily clad ice statue. She only froze for a couple of minutes though, then she headed inside to the cocoa machine.

"ARGH!!! MY EARS!!!!" Apparently Grizou isn't much better at singing then his RL counterpart.

Silver Flower Badge! The true question is, can she make it to Gold before Graduation?

Spring is in the air, and we're sadly loosing Tiger, our snowman. And the ponds still frozen, which sucks.

Loretta finally found that special someone to spend her life with. For now, all you need to know about her is that her name is Valerie Patch.

Loretta got a little carried away by the romance of spring and proposed to Valerie on their first date. The Spring air must have affected Valerie too, because she said yes.

Spinning, spinning, spinning...

Here's where I admit to cheating. I don't know if it's intentional or a glitch, but I didn't know that having Rowan and Abbie spin together would make them fall in love. So I made them not in love with the help of our friend the inSiminator.

After that mishap, I sent Rowan off to spin by herself.

"Elise, we all make mistakes, and I don't think you should keep wearing something that marks you as Ricky's. You deserve better than him, let me help you."

Not bad for her first makeover. I mostly left Elise alone because Ricky's still alive, and I don't want her to marry into Knowlton until he kicks the bucket. The crown will help me remember.

Wow! That's a great first present Valerie! I think we're going to get along just fine.

Hmm, looks like Loretta's earned her Gold Gardening badge. Who's next?

We're well into spring now, but the water in the fountains and the pond is still frozen. As you can see, I've decided Lauren should be the resident gardener now.

Rowan's graduated at the top of her class! For those who have forgotten she got a degree in Drama. She's taking quite a haul with her back to Knowlton too.
Rowan's Inventory (not counting premade meals): 2 Florid Fonts, 16 MW Apples, 5 J. Largemouth Bass, 6 Blue Catfish, 2 Largefish Bass, 3 Rainbow Trout, 1 J. Rainbow Trout, 2 Boots, 140 MW Tomatoes, 1 27" TV.
This girl is set to go! We'll see you in a few chapters Rowan, in the meantime, behave yourself.
