These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 1 - Round 2 - Rainseeker Home

More fun! fun! fun! with the popularity family of the neighborhood.

And this is how Tom leaves the kitchen everysingle time if I let him. The only one who actually washes the dishes on their own is Sierra.

Aremis is once again mutli-tasking at the table, while Sierra finally got a job as a llama, oops, I mean in athletics, snicker.

This is how she likes to spend her time at home. She spins up charisma wants constantly. She'd actually rather build charisma than relationships.

And here she is heading off to work despite being pregnant. You see, with all her promotions the house finally has wallpaper and wood floors, so we're inviting the headmaster. I forced her to cook a turkey at 4am, let her sleep till 7, tossed her in the energizer and then sold off some of the old furniture to buy this car so she could go to work. She better come home with a promotion, because Aremis no longer has a bed.

Tom does his part by spinning up the want to sell a masterpiece, he likes it just as much as most fortune sims, and Aremis is being forced to clean up the house. Hey! He should be happy, he gets to meet someone new who's always home when you call, and school should be easier, especially with the chance to earn some skill points for free.

Ok, so not good, what's is it with this town, first we have Kirsty dressing like Tara, and now I realise you guys have the same haircut, hair color, and skin tone.

So after a quick tour by Tom (45) the turkey was served and well recieved, although not as well as normal (41), BJ and Monica think it's a little weird that Tom is at the table in his jammies when an hour ago he had clothes on. Truth is, he's getting old and he needed a quick nap so he wouldn't pass out in his plate. Or it could be because I'm evil and never let him sleep, he paints, he energizes, and he paints some more. Now, if you can add properly you'll see that we still needed some points, so I had Sierra chat him up, despite the fact that she's exhausted. She got 12 shmooze points from a normal chat and then lost 3 when she tried to schmooze about school. Still they got in. We have our first private school student. I would have thought it would be Tara. BTW, the orange kitchen actually gets rave reviews apparently, hey I just go with whatever my sims want (mostly).

I guess that's what happens when you force an exhausted pregnant woman to eat, but this won't kill her and hunger will.

NOT TONIGHT MOM!!! For heaven's sake, they're all exhausted from the headmaster visit. I'm warning you to leave Sierra alone, she's pregnant you know. I don't even have to keep your gravestone you know, I don't lose any points for deleting it or sending you off to the cemetary. Behave yourself, go clean the toilet or something.

I knew it! I knew she was going to wake-up my exhausted sims.

The upside to Mom scaring Aremis is that it happened at the same time as Sierra's pregnancy pop, so they both got up to have leftover dinner together. I'm trying to get them to be friends, so they often eat together.

Jeez Mom, I warned you to leave my pregnant sim alone. A little sibling rivalry perhaps? Liked being an only child did you? Come on, leave poor Sierra and your unborn brother or sister alone will ya?

I told Sierra that she had to get a makeover since she looked too much like Monica, this is what she chose. I think she's trying to confuse Mom so that she'll stop scaring her.

And here he is ladies and gentlemen, the first private school student of Knowlton, I believe it's called Knowlton Academy (real school folks, it used to be private but by the time I attended it, it was public, although it still had and as far as I know still has a school uniform).
