These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 1 - Round 2 - Wetstein Home

Meanwhile at the Wetstein's things are still pretty miserable. This shot was purposely taken with the walls down to show how bad things are. Everyone is always hungry and either needs a shower or the toilet, and it's rare that fun is at a high level. Worse yet, Serena has spun up the fear of having a baby, and of course eventually she has to have one. Not my favorite family.

Debbie spends a lot of time in this thing, but if she wants to max out all her skills she doesn't have time to sleep or eat. Unfortunately it's taking its toal on her relationship with her family.
So we have the first woohoo out of the way...

And then the second, also with Holden, but I read somewhere that the sims count it as two different people (home vs. public), here's hoping. I wonder if she'll also count the first Mystery Sim in her count.

Meanwhile Samantha's over for a visit. For all that she claims she doesn't know anything about kids, she seems to enjoy hanging out with them.

And here's how everyone except Serena spent the weekends, the girls alternated between the Easy Bake, studying, and painting. It paid off for the twins, but Amber seems to be really slow at skilling.

And our second victim is Alley. Did you know hot tubs don't count as public woohoo? I didn't, so we'll have to ask her out again. By the time this stopped Serena was exhausted, so I ended the date and sent her home.

Serena, stop checking out Samantha, I know she's pretty, and likes girls, but she's too young for you. Besides, even when she isn't too young, she's going to settle down with some nice co-ed and start a family, so hands off.

Debs kept spinning up the want to be a werewolf, and since she'll die in a week or two anyway, I figured why not, if I'm lucky she'll kick the bucket while she's in werewolf mode. She didn't quite make friends with Baxter yet, but there's always tonight.

And Monday morning the whole family with one noticable exception takes of on the big buses, as usual April is trailing along slowly behind her sisters. She's always the last on the bus.

As you can see things have improved slightly for the family. Serena got her punching bags, there are roses, and the outside of the house has been painted. The'd prefer something a little bit more durable, but we're working on it.

And here sits Deb as usual with a thinking cap and a book. As you can see the money from Serena's promotions has at last given the family floors and paint. Maybe Monday or Tuesday night the girls will actually have a chance to get into private school. The house is no great shakes, but Deb's a great cook, and Serena can flirt with him.
