These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 2 - Round 4 - Wetstein Home

We now return to the house of Woohoo. Well, really at this point it's more like the house of Books, but Serena's still the main character here, so we'll let her have her delusions. When we last left Serena she'd managed to Woohoo 5 sims, so what's she up to now?

"So I'll give you a call after I pop this thing out, right?"
Never mind, I should have known.

Yet another hottub, you think her lovers are trying to tell her something? Or do they just know her that well?

With three Knowledge sims in the house, there's a lot of studying going on. But think of all the scholarships they'll earn and be happy about the skill building.

Eddie seems to be quite popular now that he's a teen.

This house is crazy. It's nuts keeping up with Serena's rapidly dropping needs, making sure that all the Knowledge sims are supplied with thinking hats and that they get to the energizer on time, and dealing with the blossoming romance of April and Orlando.

Aww, her first kiss! You know how Family sims are. They gotta find that special someone ASAP.

Serena really does seem to prefer men, but beggars can't be choosy, she wandered by and that made her next on Serena's hitlist.

NO! Serena, what do you think you're doing? That's almost as bad as cheesecake. Don't you think this house is crazy enough as it is? Have you not noticed that your family is the only one still living in a slum like house? You'll never get rid of all these kids if you keep this up. You don't even like kids, why in the world would you run the risk of having twins? Arghh, I was paying attention to April's date when she decided to go and make herself spagetti of all things for supper.

Hah! It figures, the Family sim congratulates the Romance sim on getting pregnant, or at least I think she is, that or she's congratulating her on teaching one of them to walk, but that was awhile ago, and I think Deb took care of most of that.

Just be grateful all your other kids were born in CAS.

Awww, and here she is, Cora Wetstein.
Even Serena can't resist this little bundle of sunshine!

The dorm, err excuse me bedroom, has been converted into a nursery which Cora will share with April. Nobody else sleeps anyway. And April should enjoy taking care of her little sister.

Serena immediately got back to her normal tricks. Um, that pun wasn't really intended but it's pretty funny so I'll leave it be! I warned Korey that he'd be next. The also went home to make use of the bed. I'd never go anywhere near that thing, it must be filthy by now, but nobody ever washes the sheets.

I swear, old sims are a pain, this was the only place she'd actually think about the fact that she maxed out her skills. Deb you rock, I take it all back, you can wander into everyone's houses as much as you want you darling!

See? I knew this arrangement would work out for everyone. Cora just woke April up at 4 am for a diaper change and April's not the least bit upset about it. Although Deb can help out now too, since she has nothing better to do.

Serena and I have been having a very bad run of luck with the chance cards, so we've started investing in statuary. They can't seize what we've already spent! She's still saving up to buy Woohoo Central. This is about $13,500 right here, she needs about $7,000 more.

It's time for Cora's birthday, and the only one not excited is Kirsty.

Well, I guess we still have some work for Debbie afterall.

She's so cute practicing with Cora. You'd think they'd be the best of friends, but they're not even friends yet.

Her first day back at work she brought Ivy home. Beware Ivy, you've been marked, you wuss.

Ah, Baxter my old friend you return. I haven't forgotten that Deb wants you to nibble on her.

"OW!!! That hurt Baxter!"

"oooooh, I feel funny"

"Rawr! I'm starving, somebody feed me before I eat the baby" At least I won't have to put up with starving Grandma for too much longer. And it made her very happy.

"My what big teeth you have Grandma"
At least Cora's not afraid of her Grandma, she loves her no matter what.

The family tree has been moved back to the bottom of the blog because I realised that it gave away too much information. People can always browse down to the bottom if they're confused. One of these days I swear the blog will maintain a stable appearance.

I love this daily/multiple update schedule you have. I come back and there's always something here for me to read!

Congratulations on wolfing up old Deb. Hopefully she doesn't chow down on any kids in red cloaks during her last days. That's a lot of skilling going on, too. I can never manage that... Knowledge sims bore me. Maybe because every single Knowledge sim I ever get wants to be a Criminal Mastermind... /sigh

The joy of being a stay at home mom, is that I leave the sims up on my desktop most of the day. Then when I have five minutes, naptime, or they want to watch I can play. I have to admit though, most of my play time is the fact that I'm a night owl and up till 2a.m. most nights. I personally love Knowledge sims, but I never realised before how boring they are for story telling. After all, how many pictures of a sim with a book can people stand? And yes, I love the fact that Tara got one of the new Pets LTWs. I've been wanting to try that one out.
