These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 5 - Round 9 - 7 Maple Square (Cormier)

Welcome back to the land where dogs rule, and people drool. Are you wondering if Annie will have puppies? The answer is yes. The really big question though is with who. And the winner is.....

Wiggins!
"I rule! I am the Champion!"
It was actually a really close vote. 2 votes for Miller, 3 votes for No Puppies, and 4 votes for Wiggins.

"I SAID STAY"
Jeez, a dog wins one poll and he thinks he doesn't need to learn anymore tricks.

I knew I was letting this kid spend too much time with Ricky!

It figures that Ricky would be the first one out there to cheer them on.

He actually can be a considerate human being occasionally. See? He's helping Kerie skill build. That's kind of nice of him.

"Why oh Why did I get stuck teaching the doofus dog how to speak?"
Because I still don't like you very much.

Heh heh! You also have to man the garden Ricky.

Garth brought Amanda home today. It's hard to find two such different kids, and yet they get along great.

I forgot to show you Garth's big boy room last time, so here you go!

Congratulations Ricky, now get back to work, there are lots of leaves to rake up too.

"You know honey, I've been thinking we should give Garth a little brother or sister."
"Really Ricky? That would be so great!"
I think this whole sibling thing has more to do with Ricky getting some woohoo than it does with any real concern of his about his son being an only child.

I know, I know, we haven't had many dog pictures this round. They haven't been doing much honestly. Mostly Annie just puts the boys in thier place all the time.

I love the fact that he pulled out the car that matches his bedroom!

Yes, Ricky is even forced to teach his son how to do homework. I did tell him I'd make him pay for being in my challenge.

Saturday morning, and everyone's hard at work. Ricky needs to get these trees into shape and bearing fruit before winter arrives...

Kerie's working on teaching Wiggins how to Play Dead. He really does seem to learn better from her than from Ricky. They both have the same amount of charisma, so it just must be that Wiggins is a ladies dog.

Garth gets to do a little post homework painting. Unfortunately for him, Kerie is indeed pregnant, which means she's exhausted, and Ricky has to work. Therefore, all the chores fall to poor Garth.

How's it going with Wiggins Kerie?
"Well he looks like roadkill, so I'd say he's doing well."

Ricky left the garden a mess, so Garth's first chore of the day is to weed it. Luckily sims seem to find this amazingly fun.

Next he had to clean the dog beds and clean and refill their dishes. Then he had to go and clean the toilet his mother puked in. By this point, Garth is tired and stinky.

Poor Garth worked hard all day and had no time to skill build or play. Here's hoping a little cocoa will cheer him up!

Ricky's not allowed to sleep. Since he's the only one who's permaplat, he uses the energizer constantly so that he can do all the chores that haven't been done, like bathing dogs, raking leaves, fixing broken showers, gardening, well, you get the idea.

Puppy Time!
Looks like we've got three new additions:

Sheba
Genius, Hyper, Friendly, Cowardly, Finicky
Libra

Pigpen
Genius, Friendly, Cowardly, Pigpen
Gemini

Wizard
Genius, Hyper, Friendly, Cowardly, Finicky
Aquarius

Thank you for the names Mom!

Aww, look what a great mom she is. She just gave birth and she's already nuzzling them.

Just born and already Wizard and Pigpen are playing together. You'll have to take my word for which puppy is which, because for now, they all look the same.

I guess you guys were right, Wiggins is a great daddy!

Garth and Pigpen seem to share a special bond. Then again, I guess they would since they're both slobs.

I told Ricky it was time to do some job jumping. He got Journalism and Education and then went back to Art.

I finally put my foot down and told Ricky and Kerie that they would have to take care of the dogs and the chores themselves today, because Garth needed to skill build. My kids usually build tons of skills on the weekend and instead poor Garth has been doing his parents chores.

Even Miller thinks the puppies are cute!

"Isn't it great having puppies around the house? And just wait, soon you'll have a brother or sister too!"
"Will I have to take care of the baby too?"
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Never mind Mom."

Despite all the craziness, Ricky's managed to earn his Silver Gardening badge.

Poor Ricky even gets sent out to rake the leaves at three in the morning in the rain. Gosh I'm evil, *grin*.

Kerie woke up for the belly pop. Wiggins got home from work in really bad shape, and it seemed like the fastest way to juice him up a bit was to take him for a walk. Here's hoping they make it back ok, because the rainstorm is now a lightening storm.

This storm is totally ruining Ricky's carefully tended garden. The plants are now all over watered.

One last shot of the pups following their proud poppa, whose just trying to find a place to sleep.

Great job on the pet chance cards! Poor Garth, he really is getting the short end of the stick this round. The puppies are adorable! I can't wait to see what they look like whey they're grown.
