These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 5 - Round 9 - 6 Maple Square (Chalmers)

Before we get going with the Chalmers, I'd like to pimp a challenge I've been holding over at TSR. It's called Generations 2, and it's a building contest. You don't have to upload any lots you create, although you can if you want to. You don't even have to let me use your lot if you don't want to, although it's much appreciated. Any lots that are submitted with permission to be used will become one of the new homes in Knowlton with a link to the download site. There are free memberships available at TSR, which is all you need to participate in the contest. You can find the challenge thread with the complete challenge rules here.



How are the Chalmers dealing with the late night reset? Well, Phoenix is finding a job in the Paranormal career track,

Chad is calling Piper Rainseeker,

and Cadence is painting (of course!).

Suddenly it was time for Cadence to have the baby....

Welcome to the world little Heath Chalmers.

I swear, I have never seen a Knowledge sim who spins up so many wants to spend time with his children. A word of warning, that treadmill really heats your sims up fast!

Phoenix is one skill point away from Maxing Out all his skills, so he'll be in charge of the garden, with a little help from Chad I'm sure.

The backyard has been given some renovations. Other than the greenhouse, all of these renovations were already planned.

Chad is quite the independant young man, which is probably a good thing.

Cadence actually spends a lot of time with little Heath. Cripes! Look at the size of that mouth!

Umm, yeah, 'cause having that attitude with her is really going to make her want to be friends with you.

Poor Heath. His parents are both at work, and his brother is too young. He had to have the nanny help him grow-up. And he's not exactly pretty either. We've got to find some pretty sims for these guys to marry and try to breed out the ugly. Maybe marry them to pretty sloppy nice sims from other families.

It's a good thing that Chad's so responsible. He ran right downstairs to bring Heath the Wabbit Head and to keep Heath company. Besides, as the only two really homely kids in town, they've got to stick together.

Cadence and Phoenix felt really bad about missing Heath's birthday. Phoenix started toddler skilling him when he got home, and when Cadence got home, she finished the job.

Someone WILL be abducted. I mean, if I keep trying, someone has to eventually, right?

Poor Cadence. It seems like she does all the work in this family. Chad is in no shape to help with chores after school, and Phoenix is busy with his garden.
