These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 5 - Round 9 - 5 Maple Square (Rainseeker)


The family that skills together stays together. Wow! Look at all that red hair, lol.

Tina's maxed out her creativity! That's great, because with this many people in a family they go through money quickly.

Aremis, your family especially needs a garden. Just think of all the grocery money you'll save.

Never a quiet moment at this house. And look, Sharla followed another one of my kids home.

There's no such thing as a quiet birthday at this house. Even if you don't through a party the house is full of people!

Now that everyone's been fed, the toddlers have been put on the potty, and the guests have left life can settle down. Amanda's decided to get to know Benjamin better, even though it's way past her bedtime.

Tina is teaching Pat to talk.

And Aremis is tending the crops.

"Come to Mommy!"

Hidden in all that foliage is Aremis' Bronze Gardening badge.

Argh, the agravation. You see, I thought I had already hired a nanny and then realised when no one showed up by quarter to 12 that I hadn't. So Aremis phoned for one. An hour later, still no nanny. So he calls for a "Just For Now" nanny. At 1:45 TWO nannies show up and Aremis can finally leave for work 2hrs late.

"Bathe me, you stupid nanny!"
"You want a bottle?"

Gah, Calista! Quick, turn the fridge around!

"BATHE ME!!!! Stop staring at the stupid fridge and BATHE ME!!!!!"

Tina came home and saved the day, she bathed Ben, dismissed BOTH of the nannies, and finished toddler skilling Ben.

Marcus has just proven for us that sim children can garden. The guide never did say.

I find it oddly amusing that the boy is the one in pink, while his sisters wear blue.

Good lord, this house LOOKS like a legacy house. Stinky toddler, bottles all over the place. And they still have 5 kids to go!

Marcus, how gullible can you be? Can't you tell that Chad's cheating?

"I heard that Chad has a tv. What's a tv Daddy?"

Well, after that little conversation, Aremis realised how hard his kids where studying. He decided to do a little job hopping to help the family out before returning to Natural Science.

One of the new additions was a Golden Idol to watch over the toddlers. It seemed to Aremis that ever since weather came to Knowlton that his children were becoming depressed for no reason. He hoped the idol would help them deal with that.

These are the other things Aremis picked up in his job travels. 2 Golden Bookcases, and a Tribal Pinball game. Hopefully life would get a little easier for his family now. (Not to mention the poor Plumbbob Diety who has to manage this household!)
