Week 4 - Round 7 - 8 Maple Square (Graham)
Welcome to 8 Maple Square designed by pganzer of TSR (Generation Cottage Series). It's been rebuilt and recolored on a 4x4 lot because the original lot was too tiny for my tastes. This is Amber Wetstein's new home.
The first thing Amber did after settling into her new home was to ask Oliver to move in with her. They were both so happy that they could be together now. Oliver brought $12,000 with him.
Oliver has rather unfortunate taste in clothing however. I think you both deserve some new clothes.

I think they like each others new clothes! I couldn't resist, I missed Amber's hanbok.
Oliver was lucky and got a job in Science right off the bat, even if he does have to start at the bottom of the ladder.
Medical wasn't available for Amber so she jumped around a few jobs gathering career rewards before finally settling on Natural Science, the highest paying available today.
Their welcoming party consisted of Tina and, well just Tina. But she was happy to meet them!
Oliver quickly started taking advantage of all of Amber's job hopping. Why build skills the old fashion way when you have all these neat toys!
Amber got to work on the painting for her grave site. Afterall, she wanted to be remembered at the peak of her life, not old, gray, and wrinkley.
2:30 am, and Amber's job hunting again. This time she found Medical!
Oliver made himself sick making medicine, and it took me till 5am to remember that I had installed a hack to fix the glitch that causes the medicine to be completely useless.
Looks like the Cormiers used up all the luck. Nobody got promoted today, but Amber brought Amy Parker home. Amber's got lots of friends, and Oliver was feeling lonely so I sent the two of them out to play chess while Amber had a hamburger.
The family might not have a lot of promotion luck, but Amber's managed to get every job possible in 3 days. Now that she's finished gathering career rewards she's settled into the Paranormal career track.
(A/N: This is actually 8pm, I just took the shot in buy mode so it wasn't so dark)
In the early hours of Thursday morning Amber arrives home at the top of her second career. Which is good, because I have plans for that promotion money.
Thursday morning, after Amber had gotten some sleep, she and Oliver decided it was time to tie the knot, and Amber is now Amber Graham.
They had waited till their wedding night, which turned out to be their wedding morning, to take the final step in their relationship. They both thought the wait was worth it. I told you that Amber is very traditional.
Some of that promotion money was spent on upgrading the house, but some of it was for Amber's Flowers. It's small, but that's a good thing since Amber doesn't have any of the really important badges like Register and Restocking.
Komei Tellerman is Amber's first customer, and she seemed to handle him pretty well. The shop didn't stay open long the first day, it was more of a trial run.
Oh Amber! What a way to end a round. It was Lobster Thermador of course!

Yay for more pretty ethnic clothing! Congratulations on both ToC's... wow, that was quick. You really make with the skilling, huh? That's something I always have issue with--it's just too boring for me... watching sims get skills. I'm impatient, haha.
Darn that lobster thermador... bad legacy memories, yikes.
I actually have the opposite problem, once they've gained all their skill points I'm not sure what to do with them anymore. I'd love to get that badge bonus, so I guess at one point one of my knowledge sims will have to gain all 7. They seem best suited to it. It was going to be Eddie, but then I remembered he's going to marry April who's a family sim, and will therefore have too many children to have time for earning lots of badges.
Glad you like the ethnic clothing. I just love it, and at least it's not boring!
