Week 3 - Round 6 - Luworld Home
Sorry it took so long folks, here I've been thinking that my internet service has been down for the last 30 hours or so, and it turns out that I'm having issues with ZoneAlarm. I don't remember installing anything that should have caused problems or running Windows Update (usually my first suspect when things go wrong) but I must have done something because I'm having an awful time convincing ZA to let my computer or any of the programs on it talk to the internet. Bon, enough about that.
When we last saw the Luworld family in their own house, they had just purchased and returned Buffy and been given Magenta, the pink puppy from Blue's Clues. The timing is due largely to Tara's LTW of having 6 Pets Reach the Top of their Careers. Ok, so the reason it was Magenta and not Blue is because of Monica and her daughters' obsessions with pink.
Friday morning and everyone's off to work and school at the same time! Magenta even caught a ride with Grayson and Monica!
"Whose my sweet little pink doggie? Yes you are!"
Meanwhile the folks have both been promoted and are studying away, unfortunately Grayson is sick again, but won't stay in bed.
I love watching Tara bark, I should have videoed it, but forgot that you CAN blog videos, too late now.

Yay! Baxter returns, please nibble her, pretty please? He didn't, darn it, but maybe next time.

Poor little Loretta is pretty much left to her own devices on the weekend. Tara is nominally watching her, but she's busy training Magenta and harvesting money trees.
"Hah! Take that and that! Send away my nanny will you! I'll show you!" This kid kinda scares me sometimes. She's always got this evil look on her face. I would marry her off to Billy Rainseeker so their evil kids could terrorise the town, but Loretta is the heiress here, and Billy is heir to the Rainseeker home. Maybe their kids can get married.
"The things I do for my human, I'm so embarrassed."
"Hi my name is Cadence, I just moved here."
I should have named Loretta Cinderella. This kid is always scrubbing and washing and cleaning because the rest of the family is too busy to bother. This family used to be really close, but ever since Monica and Grayson decided to concentrate on their careers, and Tara decided to concentrate on scholarships and money, they've drifted apart. Hopefully once they become Hall of Famers, and Tara goes off to college, they'll be able to sit back, relax, and spend time with their family again.
Aww, cute. Look how worried Magenta is. This is actually even cuter on cats who seem to have more expressive faces. I seriously think that whoever was team leader liked cats better. The cats are more expressive and have way more objects designed for them.
Monica and Grayson still find time to Makeout all the time. I don't ask what happens when they go to the car to "chat". As long as there are no more babies, Monica's getting up there in years.
Sneak attack!!! They're finally married. I missed the wedding rings by about two seconds, but at least nobody took an aspiration hit over it. I think they really thought I'd forgotten that they were going to get married one of these days. Monica took Grayson's last name.
It's so hard to show exactly how cute the play dead thing is, although it's even funnier with the big dogs, and some of the cats are real hams about it.
Please don't spray my little pink dog Mr. LePew. Pretty Please?

Ug! To the clothes shopper and mirror with you my dear. I'm glad to see you're honoring your mother's legacy, but I happen to hate that skirt. Or rather I hate the boots. The skirt with the beige boots is fine but these things are neon for crying out loud.

"Why don't I have some I have something like this at my place?"Well Serena, to tell the truth it's because you're so busy sleeping around that I didn't think you'd take the time to sit on a bench. I'll consider giving you one when I get to your place.
Go Monica! You so the Girl! Maxed out Charisma finally. I hate building charisma, even with the bird, which they don't have anymore.

I think the easiest way to build charisma is with the business putter career reward.
You're right Lisa, but nobody in this family has earned the Execuputter yet. In the mean time they have to make due with the mirror and the bird. Unfortunately they'll stop talking to the bird when their fun maxes out. Hope you're enjoying the read so far! And thanks for commenting.
