These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 3 - Round 6-3 - Sim State Uni - Whispering Winds


This has been a slow year at college, after all we now have 3 Knowledge sims at the university and that's it. I might love Knowledge sims but they're not the most interesting sims when it comes to stories. The only really big deal is that Eddie has now joined Amber and Kirsty at Sim State.

For some reason Eddie wasn't able to join the Greek House on his first day, he'd just call and hang up. 7am on his second day though and the girls rushed over to welcome him with open arms. Looking good Eddie.


Eddie's also decided he needs to learn something new and has decided on Toy Making. I'm thinking of having him hook-up with April once she gets here.


Amber seems to be the only one I ever catch with a badge above her head. She's just whizzing through them like nuts!


Eddie has made it into the not-so-secret-anymore-secret-society. Yippy.


Gold badge! You know what that means right? Snapdragons! Amber will also be bestowing a few of those on her fellow housemates as farewell presents when they leave college.


Yup, I'm still trying to kill the Man-Cow. However, he's pretty smart. As soon as it sparked at him he gave up and went to try to flirt with Kirsty, who detests him.


Hah! I caught you Eddie. By this point Kirsty's already got her gold badge in robotics, but I didn't have her build a servo since the three of them have severely depressed the bank account balance of Whispering Winds. From now on, they paint like crazy to try to repay the house.


This is Amber's job now, since she's the only one who seems capable of maintaining a gold aspiration long enough to do the job. At least she has the aide of her beloved flowers.

Snapdragons are a lot of fun. I don't really see their use being that much of a difference unless you're skilling or trying for badges, though. Oh, and they do help a little in businesses if you're trying to sell expensive things.

I actually find them a BAD thing unless your skilling or trying for badges. After all, your sims never get lonely enough to call friends or anything. Kinda boring, but useful when skill building, and almost essential for certain the workstation badges, man those things are hard on the sims.

Thanks, the kimono is one of my favorite things from the most recent holiday mini-pack. I'm a complete addict, I can't help it, if they make it, I'll buy it, lol.
