These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Round 7 Neighborhood Showcase

First off I'd like to apologize because one of the pictures I'll be posting is the same one as at the end of the last post. At the time it hadn't occured to me to do a review for the whole neighborhood now and then. Having said that, this isn't about points or anything. I'll mostly be showing you all the houses in town as they are at the moment, and a new neighborhood family tree that I spent half the afternoon on. It's really hard to figure out how wide it'll have to be, and some of the relationships are getting a bit complex. Not to mention we have some large families to deal with. If this sort of thing isn't to your taste, feel free to skip it and wait for the next post. Speaking of which, don't forget to vote for April or Rowan since I will most likely be playing Uni tonight. We'll make the deadline 7pm.

First things first, the neighborhood family tree. You'll really need to click on it to see it at full size, otherwise it's really hard to see.

Oooh, I really loved this! I'm not much of a builder, but I'm a total voyeur. I love seeing how others build/etc. Very cool!

I loved that you showed the layouts of the houses, too. That family tree blew my mind, haha.

Thanks mao, it took me forever to figure out that darn family tree. It's kinda complicated with multiple marriages and lots of kids. Besides, it's so cool that Aremis has an aunt and uncle who are less than a week older than his own kids. I'm thinking the family trees in the round posts are going to have to start being direct descent only!

I can't take credit for most of the houses, I'm just too busy playing to design anything right now, although maybe I'll add in some of my own houses that I've built. The only problem there is that when I was building, I was completely addicted to building starters!
