These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 3 - Round 6-1 - Uni - Whispering Winds

A word from our sponsors: Mao thank you so much for your continued support and comments, it means a ton to me to know that there's someone out there actually waiting for my next post. Thanks for adding me to your link page too! I've been slowing working my way through your Meryl stories and am loving them so far. Very creative! Shauna I love your stories so I'm flattered that you see things here that you'd like to adopt for your own blog, please feel free to steal anything you want. My son Marcus (Aremis) also says thanks for saying he's a hottie!

So now that all the other members of Whispering Winds have left for Knowlton to start their new lives, what's Ricky been up too?

I should have known. This one is Lindsay Ebadi, and she brings him to Three Woohoos.

Next on the list was Prof. Lindsay Thompson. I was feeling generous and gave her a nice makeover.

That makes Five Woohoos. She didn't help his grades as much as I thought she would though. (Ricky seems to count this as two seperate woohoos, 1 with Prof. Lindsay and 1 with a Service Sim)

And here's what Ricky does with the women I won't let him seduce. He persuades them to write his term papers.

Christy Couderc makes Woohoo Six, and the first Public Woohoo.

And then they woohooed in the car after her makeover, bringing us to Seven Woohoos.

Gee Ricky, is that a phone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Serena certainly seems to think that Ricky's dreamy. I'm okay with that. That way I can help both of them at once. But right now you need to get your mind back on your date Ricky.

This makes Eight Woohoos and Two Public Woohoos.

Nine Woohoos and Three Public Woohoos. This is his first Woohoo Jaqueline Andersen by the way.

I finally convinced Ricky that it was time to take a break from the Woohooing before it fell off, and to study a little for post college life.

Yeah, I've said it before, but I'll say it again, in the sims world, it pays to be promiscuous. Ricky has about $10,000 in his backpack, and he's still got two years of college left. For those of you who were worried about Storm, Ricky actually has remembered to feed her and she's doing fine. He even cleaned her cage!

End of Round Review:

Ricky
Friends: 17
School: Art, GPA 4.0
LTW: 9/20 Woohoos
Skills: Cooking-4, Mech-8, Charisma-7, Body-3, Logic-4, Creativity-6, Cleaning-3

Whispering Winds Value: $34, 308

In regards to the reply you left to my comment, you could always try putting the names of the sims on the pictures once your neighborhood gets really big. That's what Asimwen (http://www.asimwen.com/prosperity_falls/Prosperity_Falls_Stories.html)
does for her prosperity story. I normally don't have troubles with that, though. I have a good, visual memory. ;)

On the note of this entry, I must admit to cracking up when you said "...before it falls off". That could be a Romance sim fear! Oh, God I can see the little icon for it now. Ha!

And in response to the beginning of your post, this is the perfect mixture for me. I mean, Prosperity wise. It's not an overblown story that I have to understand every single nuance of (which gets a tad ridiculous when your hood expands like crazy!), but it isn't complete gameplay, either. I really like it, it suits me very well! It makes me want to try Propserity again... which is totally not going to happen, haha.
