These are the stories of the citizens of Knowlton - A Sims 2 Prosperity Challenge. If you love it, if you hate it, if you saw something you wanted to talk about, PLEASE leave comments. I'm a sad pathetic human, and I live for comments.

For those of you not familiar with what a Prosperity Challenge is, it's a Sims 2 Challenge in which the main focus is to build a prosperous community from scratch. There are a few catches though, everything, including your starting families are determined by the role of a dice (or in my case a randomizer). For the complete rules and setup you have two options the Yahoo! Group or the BBS thread at the official site.

The quick low down on the newly created Knowlton; Knowlton is completely deserted. It's set out in a grid, so at some point in the past it may have even been a city, but that may have been hundreds of years ago, because other than roads for miles around all you see is grass plains. Four daring families have decided (okay have been forced) to make a new start here. So come meet these daring folks, hear their stories, and wish them luck folks, they're going to need it! Week 3 - Round 5 - 6 Maple Square (Jalowitz)

Welcome to the new house on the block, 6 Maple Square, and let me introduce our newest founder, Cadence Jalowitz.

Cadence Jalowitz
Aspiration: Fortune
LTW: Become Criminal Mastermind
Personality: Neat-4, Outgoing-7, Active-8, Playful-3, Nice-3
Sign: Gemini
Turn-Ons: Fitness & Full Face Makeup, Turn-Off: Black Hair

This is Cadence's little starter, based off one of the Blue Water Village houses. I can't remember the name of it, but it was the storybook themed one.

Here's her very limited furniture, plus a few things from Uni.

Cadence quickly realised that she needed help getting this house off the ground, and she knew just the sim. She and Phoenix had been best friends all through university and there had always been an attraction, now she decided to use that to her advantage, wasting no time in letting him know what was on her mind.

While I understand that she's attracted to him, I worry about his nose being passed to their children.

Hmm, looks like Ricky taught her a few moves before she left Whispering Winds.

Phoenix Chalmers
Aspiration: Knowledge
LTW: Max Out 7 Skills
Personality: Neat-5, Outgoing-3, Active-7, Playful-3, Nice-7
Sign: Pisces
Turn-Ons: Makeup & Custom Hair, Turn-Off: Stink

Taking his cue from Cadence, Phoenix wasted no time whatsoever in proposing engagement.

Which was quickly followed by a quick lawn marriage. Phoenix also brought $18,000 with him.

It's been a big day of firsts for Phoenix, first date, first makeout, first love, first woohoo...poor guy must be exhausted.

Cadence hops on the computer and quickly finds a job in the Crime business...

Followed by massive amounts of skilling for a promotion the next day.

Meanwhile Phoenix stretches his brain in his undies.

But I forced him to get a job for now. He's chosen Medical, mostly because I told him I want that practice dummy.

Randy suits the decor around here perfectly. Too bad that just as I had Phoenix sit down to eat with him I realised that Phoenix started work in an hour.

And here he is off to his first day, err night, of work.

The next day Cadence set off as a Counterfeiter.

I saw that Lucy Thompson! You are sooo lucky that my sim is on the phone or she'd kick your butt.

Heh heh, I'm bound and determined that someone in this town will have an alien baby!

I'm not sure I'd want a smuggler operating on me, but this poor guy has no choice! Cadence was practicing on this dummy from 4am till 6pm with one quick stop for the energizer. I guess she should have studied more, painted less in college. She's all set for a promotion to Criminal Mastermind though.

Looks like Sierra's planning on filling Debbie's shoes. You know, walk in univited, ungreeted and start using people's things.

Phoenix brought home Jan Tellerman. Oh well, he needs some friends anyway. If you're curious it's the $5,000 Earned Milestone.

A Knowledge sim in his true habitat, a slightly shabby library with lots of thinking hats!

LTW fulfilled! Good girl!

Cadence got a reward for accomplishing so much in less than 4 days. Here she is with her new haircut, and her husband should find her even hotter than before! This shot actually reminds me of one of my favorite shows Heroes. It's kinda Nikki/Jessica like. The hair is from parsiminous.org. I don't always remember to mention where I got my custom content, but if you see something you like, ask and I'll let you know.

Man, she looks hot in that thing. I figured since it was her LTW, I should let her wear her costume at least once. When she gets back from work, she'll start looking for a job in Show Business.

And here's how the house has grown this round. The inside is now fairly well furnished and decorated, not at it's final level, but you know Fortune sims, they already have a DJ Booth and the really expensive radio from Glamour Stuff, and a few paintings.

Hooray for neighborhood expansion! However, if it's getting bigger this early on, you're going to have quite the neighborhood on your hands. I can only imagine what the next few generations will bring! It will be kind of boomtownish... which isn't too bad, but given that this is a more involved challenge, I can only imagine.

I like big families simply so I can see what all the mixes of the genetics are. I normally restrain myself for challenges, though. I kept a tight hold on my population growth when I was doing the Prosperity challenge.

I'm pretty sure that by the time generation two finally starts having kids I'll be kicking myself. This challenge may take me up to a year at the rate I'm going. Especially since I'm seeing how many impossible wants I can do, and that unfortunately includes the have 10 Children Want. Even with twins I'm not sure I'll be able to do that without the elixer, but at least the elixer will add a little more age variation to the town.

I am a little worried that it might get a little difficult for readers to remember who's who though.
