Week 1 - Round 1 - Rainseeker Home

I was bad and forgot to get face shots of the two men of this house in game, so these will have to do for the introductions. This charming old gentleman is Tom Rainseeker.

This young lad is Aremis. He's actually cloned from a sim I made of my oldest son, I just changed the eye color, handsome isn't he?

Mom, destined to be a ghost before she ever lived, was given a lovely native american buckskin dress and then promptly sacrificed to the flies. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

I missed a few shots here, but as soon as Tom had two cooking points and had met the welcome wagon, I sent him downtown in search of a bride. He's been very understanding of the fact that Aremis can't inherit the house. I personally think he's a very brave man for chatting up the barkeep right in front of Crumblebottom. We were actually looking for the Diva, but time is of the essence with a CAS elder.

Tuesday night Tom helped Aremis with his homework. From the look on Aremis' face I'm not sure Tom's actually making it any better.

And Wednesday night Mom came back to bite me right in the rear. As you can see, Sierra is just dropping off a lovely bouquet of flowers for Tom, but the night's still young and Mom wanders the lot.

First she got her son while he was socializing with his grandfather, and then she got Tom while he was painting. She also managed to permantly occupy the sink but that wasn't discovered till the next day. That is one fast ghost though. She'd scare and then skiddaddle before I could get a shot.

After such a rough night I decided Aremis deserved a girlfriend. I figured he'd like her since she's wearing a hat.

I was very wrong.

Thursday Tom invited Sierra on another date, and they quickly fell in love. Who wouldn't love this guy? He may be annoying with his constant desire for new friends, but he's a sweety.

Sierra wasn't a great catch with no money ($511), no backpack items, no friends, and no job, but she is a really nice person and she came with lots of skills. Besides, Tom likes her. I think even Aremis would like her if he ever got off the phone long enough to talk to her.

So first there was woohoo...

Then engagement....

Then marriage..... I'd love to say and then a baby carriage, but so far no lullabye.

I had Aremis ask Sophie out on a date after noticing that they had a 2L attraction, too bad I didn't know until too late that it's all on her side.

Sierra, what's with the face? "You're leaving me here? In this dump? I thought prosperity families were rich? I don't wanna live here." They are rich, it's just that this is the beginning of prosperity in one or two generations most sims will have so much money they won't know what to do with it. Just tough it out sugar. I'll be back, I promise.

End of Round Review:

Tom: is of course friends with the whole family, and has two other friends besides, one of whom is Debbie Wetstein. Work: he paints a lot, does that count? Skills: Cooking-2, Mechanical-1, Creativity-8.

Sierra: is only friends with Tom, but I'm having her build up a relationship with Neil Pederson (Mr. Big) for after Tom is gone. I mean CAS elders usually die in the second week of play, and hopefully Sierra will need a step-father for a child. Work: Mailroom Technician (athletic wasn't available yet) Skills: Cooking-7, Mech-2, Charisma-3, Body-5, Logic-2, Creativity-6, Cleaning-10.

And now, having spent the better part of 6 hours editing photos, creating family trees and figuring out how to get the photos into the right place in the blog I'm finally free to return to Knowlton.
